Free bead pattern: the Royal Crystal Bracelet

MATERIALS (for a 7-inch bracelet, not including clasp)
• About 4 yards of 6 lb. FireLine
• About 150 size 11/0 seed beads
• About 80 4mm bicone crystals
• About 38 4mm fire-polished beads
• About 20 6mm bicone crystals (or any 6mm bead)
• clasp



Step 1: Thread your needle with a length of FireLine that you feel comfortable working with and add more as you need it.

String a 6mm bicone crystal, a seed bead, a fire-polished bead, a seed bead, a 6mm bicone crystal, a seed bead, a fire-polished bead and a seed bead.

Leaving about a 12-inch tail for attaching one end of the clasp, tie the beads in a circle with a double knot:



Step 2: Go back through the seed bead, the fire-polished bead, the seed bead, the 6mm bicone crystal and the seed bead:



Step 3: String a 4mm bicone crystal, a seed bead and a 4mm bicone crystal. Go down through the seed bead, the 6mm bicone crystal and the seed bead (highlighted in RED):



Step 4: String a 4mm bicone crystal, a seed bead and a 4mm bicone crystal. Go up through the seed bead and the 6mm bicone crystal (highlighted in RED):



Step 5: String a seed bead, a fire-polished bead, a seed bead, a 6mm bicone crystal, a seed bead, a fire-polished bead and a seed bead. Go around and up through the 6mm bicone crystal that you exited at the end of the last step:



Step 6: Go up through the seed bead (highlighted in RED):



Step 7: String a 4mm bicone crystal, a seed bead and a 4mm bicone crystal. Go down through the seed bead, the 6mm bicone crystal and the seed bead (highlighted in RED):



Step 8: String a 4mm bicone crystal, a seed bead and a 4mm bicone crystal. Go up through the seed bead and the 6mm bicone crystal (highlighted in RED):



Step 9: Go through the seed bead, the 4mm bicone crystal, the seed bead, the 4mm bicone crystal, the seed bead and the 6mm bicone crystal (highlighted in RED):



Step 10: String a seed bead, a fire-polished bead, a seed bead, a 6mm bicone crystal, a seed bead, a fire-polished bead and a seed bead. Go around and down through the 6mm bicone crystal that you exited at the end of the last step:



Step 11: Go down through the seed bead (highlighted in RED):



Step 12: String a 4mm bicone crystal, a seed bead and a 4mm bicone crystal. Go up through the seed bead, the 6mm bicone crystal and the seed bead (highlighted in RED):



Step 13: String a 4mm bicone crystal, a seed bead and a 4mm bicone crystal. Go down through the seed bead and the 6mm bicone crystal (highlighted in RED):



Step 14: Go through the seed bead, the 4mm bicone crystal, the seed bead, the 4mm bicone crystal, the seed bead and the 6mm bicone crystal (highlighted in RED):



Repeat Steps 5 to 14 until your bracelet is the length you want it, minus about a half-inch and the length of your clasp.

Step 15: To attach one end of the clasp, string a seed bead, a 4mm bicone crystal and two seed beads. Go through the clasp and then back through the last seed bead that you just strung:



Step 16: String a seed bead, a 4mm bicone crystal and a seed bead. Go back up through the 6mm bicone crystal bead you exited at the end of Step 14 (highlighted in RED):



Go back through this triangle of seed beads, 4mm bicone crystals and the clasp several times to reinforce the attachment to the clasp. Weave your way back into the bracelet, knot in several places and then cut your thread.

Step 17: To attach the clasp to the other end of the bracelet, simply thread your needle with the tail from Step 1. Go up through the 6mm bicone crystal:



Repeat Steps 15 and 16.
